1984. Boris Arkadiev, the most beloved stand-up comedian of the Soviet Union, is losing his grip, overwhelmed by the people’s adoration and a lack of creative freedom. The status of ‘the KGB’s favourite comedian’ is not helping either. Driven to the edge, Arkadiev hatches some dangerous plans.
