Late night. A young woman, an emigrant from Uzbekistan, is on her way home to her sick child, when she is stopped and frisked by the police. Because of the language barrier, she cannot explain the purpose of the drugs in a vial found on her. As a result, the woman is detained at the police station, guarded by a delusional duty officer, while her baby is left alone in an empty apartment, waiting for the lifesaving shot.
