Director: Sergey Osipyan / 2016

A tired engineer on a night train somewhere in the middle of Russia in 1968. As birches and train stations flash outside the window, the engineer tells everyone who listens that soon the USSR will land on the Moon. But there is something else bothering him — he hasn’t seen any woman at the cosmodrome in a while. His soul searching is abruptly, though not surprisingly, interrupted by a female sleeping car attendant. Incidentally, the cosmos plays into this brief encounter, too.
